Seward was founded as a transportation corridor, and it still is today. It is easy to get in, out and around Seward.  The Alaska Railroad arrives each morning from Anchorage around 11am and departs in the evening at 6pm.  The railroad line continues beyond Anchorage to Talkeetna, Denali Park, and Fairbanks.  Between Seward Bus Line, Homer Stage, Three Dogs Transportation, Go Purple Tours, and The Park Connection, a bus is leaving or arriving from Anchorage every few hours. There is a bus that goes to Exit glacier hourly. Taxis are an inexpensive way to get around town (about $5).  Taxis will drive you to Exit Glacier or even to Anchorage if needed.  Sea Taxis will get you to remote islands and beaches.  Air Charters will get you to remote lakes or back to Anchorage in a pinch.   Hertz provides rental cars in Seward, and private busses are also available.  Let us know what hurdles you have and let us help to solve them.
